I was in Washington DC for a conference Feb 1st through the 6th and then got an extra bonus day due to the massive snow storm back in Wisconsin. They started cancelling flights on Tuesday evening and we were the first flight out of DC and back into Milwaukee at 6:30 PM Thursday. On the up side it was 70 degrees Tuesday and 74 degrees in DC on Wednesday. Thursday was a cool 54 degrees. Easier to come home to the 27 degrees awaiting us back in Milwaukee.
The layover would have been more of a pain had we been stuck in an airport versus walking around a beautiful city in 70 degree weather. Now that's my kind of layover!
